Ajimobi Breaks 2nd term Jinx in Oyo State., wins Oyo State Governorship

 Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has done what no other governor in the State before him had ever done; win a second term of office.

Ajimobi of the All PRogressives Congress, APC, was declared winner of the election with a total of 327,310 votes. His closest rival and former governor of the State, Rashidi Ladoja polled 254,520 votes to come second while another former Governor of the State, Alao Akala of Labour party came third with 184,111 votes. The PDP’s Teslim Folarin performed dismally. He scored a total 79,019 votes
